Howdy everyone! Well, hubby and I (and junior) are finally in our new house. No more crazy, meth lab owning freak neighbors in Albuquerque. We are in Edgewood with a cool view of the mountains and our closest neighbor is 2 acres away. The house needs a little updating (why anyone in the early 90s thought mauve countertops were cool is beyond me).
In other news, hubby is continuing his acting hobby. He will be shooting in Santa Fe starting Wednesday with Val Kilmer in "Camanche Moon". It is the prequill (spelling) to "Lonesome Dove". James is playing an Austin business man in the 1800s. He is totally psyched about it because of all the crazy western garb they have him wearing. I told him to tell Val that I'll be his Huckleberry and that I loved the volleyball scene in "Top Gun" (what girl didn't)?
But something tells me hubby won't be saying that.
We are planning a camping trip to Colorado for Memorial Day weekend then come June I'll find out if the fetus is boy, girl or alien. July I'm going to Texas for the 4th to hang out with my crazy friends and family. I'm anxious to see how big my niece, Kyra, is now (I can't believe she is 8). August is my birthday and the premier of hubby's first movie "Beerfest" then in September his folkes are coming into town. So, I have something to look forward to each month. It keeps me going and motivated.
