one of our favorite hiking trails. The next is the sunset

from our backyard. The other is a cholla
cactus that grows everywhere
here. Very beautiful species.

I love the variety of plants here. The pic on the bottom is a view from
the top of the Sandia Mtns which
are just to the east of the city of

Albuquerque. The peak goes up to
almost 11,000 ft. This place is about 10 miles from our house. There is even
a ski resort on the east side of
the mtn. Crazy huh.
